Andre Kientzler led a replanting of noble varieties from the 1970s, and his sons Thierry and Eric have run the domaine since 2009, farming around 14 hectares that include several Grand Cru sites.\n\nThis Pinot Blanc is made entirely from Auxerrois, a variety that Alsace rules allow to be labelled as Pinot Blanc, from vines averaging about 35 years old. It is the softer, more generous side of the Kientzler range, with a fine floral perfume, fresh acidity and orchard fruit. The palate is pure and delicate and it finishes dry, with good length and persistence. An easy, food friendly Alsace white for seafood, salads or a cheese board.
