The soils are clay, limestone and marl, part of the same limestone chain that runs through Pouilly-Vinzelles and Pouilly-Fuisse. The family sold its grapes to the cooperative for generations before Marcel began estate bottling at Fuisse in 2005, and the vineyards are farmed organically.\n\nThe wine ferments with native yeasts and spends around 11 months on its fine lees in barrels of 228 to 500 litres. The domaine describes acacia, honeysuckle, vanilla and toast on the nose, with a palate balanced between richness and freshness and an elegant apricot finish.
