The fruit for this wine was sourced from the Tumbarumba region in southern NSW, which enjoys a cool climate very suited to growing high quality chardonnay. The purchase was in order to build on the success of the previous Tumbarumba Chardonnay. The excellent 2021 vintage produced fruit of intense flavors and excellent, natural flinty acidity.
Color: Brilliant pale straw
Bouquet: Citrus with lemon peel and cucumber, a touch of hazel nut and integrated French oak
Flavor: Citrus and grapefruit with lime, a touch of cucumber and integrated French oak
Texture: Beautifully balanced with a long finish carried through by a flinty acidity
Alcohol: 12.0%
