NARKOOJEE 2022 LILY GRACE CHARDONNAY

This wine is vintage from selected estate plantings and is named after Harry and Val Friend’s first grandchild, Lily Grace Friend. Another excellent season has produced fruit of exceptional quality which was fermented using wild yeasts, indigenous to our vineyard. This is a beautifully balanced wine with a lovely creamy texture, natural mineral acidity and is an ideal accompaniment to seafood. It will develop further in the bottle over the next five years.

Color: Brilliant, pale straw-green
Bouquet: White stone fruit and honey-dew melon with citrus, cashew, oyster shell, a touch of lees and yogurt and integrated French oak
Flavor: White stone fruit and tangerine with a touch of yogurt, almond kernel and spicy French oak
Texture: Beautifully balanced with a creamy texture, a long, taut finish and natural mineral acidity
Alcohol: 13.5 %
