The Paringa single vineyard shiraz is the apex of quality. A site, which imparts power and elegance along with distinctive spice and dark fruit aromas, and a powerful savoury palate with blackberry and liquorice flavors. Fine-grained tannin's provide excellent structure, power and weight and a very long finish. After fermentation in oak foudres, the wine was aged for 18 months new (40%) and seasoned French oak barriques.
Our single vineyard shiraz comes from the first vines planted on the estate in 1985. We only put our best fruit into this blend. After fermentation in oak foudres, the wine is aged for 15 months in new and seasoned oak.
It’s dark, brooding, and powerful! Aromas of liquorice and black pepper lead onto a dense palate, with an appealing core of juicy red and dark fruits, framed with lively acidity. A wine of outstanding concentration, purity and length.
