The Studebaker Pinot Noir is named after Neil Prentice's beloved 1957 Studebaker President, which he sold a long while ago to fund some fence posts for the vineyard!
It's an approachable, soft and delicate Pinot with the signature Moondarra style. All the grapes are handpicked, then they get destemmed and crushed before fermentation in large puncheons, so the oak influence takes a back seat here, letting the fruit really shine through.
It's loaded with nuanced flavours of red berries, earthiness and a ferrous minerality from the volcanic soils. Bang for buck, check.
