The Gewürztraminer from Cantina Tramin comes into the glass with a powerful straw yellow colour, a result of the reddish colored berries of the Gewürztraminer. This white wine from South Tyrol has an incomparable spectrum of aromas. Aromas of lychee, cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg, as well as tropical fruits fill the nose. On the palate, the South Tyrolean Gewürztraminer from Cantine Terlan is wonderfully opulent, balanced and beautifully dry. Despite its fullness, it dances nimbly over the tongue and knows how to present its aromatic complexity in an excellent way. The grapes for the Tramin Gewürztraminer grow on slopes between 300-450 meters on limestone, loamy to gravelly loamy soil. After the hand picking, the grapes are gently pressed. Fermentation takes place in small stainless steel tanks at 21°C. During the subsequent expansion, the biological acid conversion is specifically avoided so that this Traminer retains as much fruit acid as possible.
