Paul Bara Comtesse Marie de France Gra... $274.00
This Blanc de Noirs, 100% Pinot Noir, champagne offers a superb balance between freshness and intensity. Bottles are numbered for this limited edition. Attractive clear gold colour with a fine effervescence.
Nose: This wonderfully mature champagne reveals a deep and structured nose of juicy fruits, such as yellow peach and overripe apple. Candied notes verging on honey and fresh baking aromas then appear, with a delicious hint of praline and nougatine. Palate: Tasty and full in the mouth, with more of the pleasing aromas of the nose, as well as a hint of citrus peel and a slight peppery touch on the finish. This is a rich, full and generous wine, which will be perfect for a meal served exclusively with champagne.

Chateau Labegorce Margaux 2019 - Wine France Red - Liquor Wine Cave
Chateau Labegorce Margaux 2019 $131.00
“Gorgeous notes of red, blue, and black fruits as well as sandalwood, tobacco leaf, chocolate, and spicy notes emerge from the 2019 Château Labégorce, one of the richer, more opulent, and straight-up sexy wines in the vintage. A blend of 46% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Cabernet Franc, and the rest Petit Verdot, all raised in 40% new oak, it's medium to full-bodied, has beautifully integrated oak, a stacked mid-palate, and one heck of a great finish. Drink this rich, sensationally textured Margaux any time over the coming two decades. It’s unquestionably in the same league as the 2015, 2016, and 2018.” 94 points, Jeb Dunnuck, jebdunnuck.com, April 2022 “The 2019 Labégorce was the first vintage vinified in the new cellar and also the first to use Cabernet Franc from the north part of the appellation, on more limestone soils, a massal selection from an organic producer in the south of France. Matured in 40% new oak, this has a voluminous, multifaceted bouquet, a mixture of red and black fruit, cedar and perhaps more rose petal than violet at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, very well balanced, and a little spicier than I found from barrel, leading to a detailed, tensile finish.” 94 points, Neal Martin, Vinous Media, December 2021

Tomfoolery Monkey Business Cabernet Fr... $50.95
From stack to stack this young man would swing from barrel to barrel with toes a curl and unrelenting furl. Lengths of carefully laid stillage ensures his safety as he endeavours to tend his precious store. The Tomfoolery ‘Monkey Business’ Cabernet Franc is sourced from a select premium vineyard on the borders of the two villages of Bethany and Vine Vale in the Barossa Valley. Grown by 6th generation grape growers, the Hage family, this flat site has varying depths of sand/sandy loams overlaying red clays and shale and situated at 316 metres above sea level. The fruit is handpicked at optimum ripeness and flavour profile, ensuring overall balance before being gently destemmed to keep as many whole berries as possible. It is then open-fermented for a minimum of five days with the juice being pumped over the skins twice daily to maximize oxygenation and purity of fermentation. Once the wine is dry it is then gently basket-pressed minimizing the extraction of harsh tannins. Matured for 18 months in seasoned French oak barriques. Colour: Medium purple with a bright rim. Aroma: Exotic, crunchy dried leaves, camphor chest, spice and a lift of fresh cut grasses. Palate: Juicy, ripe dark berries and fruitcake with a tangy acid spike, finishes long with fine but firm tannins and ethereal varietal flavour.

Castello Di Cigognola Barberasso, Barb... $47.95
The Castello di Cigognola company stands among the hills of the Oltrepò Pavese, brembraced by Piedmont and Emilia, in what was once known , until the Unification of Italy, as “Old Piedmont”. It springs from the intuition of the proprietors, Gian Marco and Letizia Moratti, who, together with the oenologist Riccardo Cotarella and a team of experts gambled on a particularly favourable terroir. Significant investments in vines and the cellars transformed the ancient castle into a point of reference for excellence.
Moorilla Estate Muse Extra Brut Rosé 2016
Moorilla Estate Muse Extra Brut Rosé 2016 $47.95
Extremely pale—almost diaphonous—pink on pouring, the lightness of colour presages the wine itself: a delicate, lacy nose of dried cranberries, strawberry leaf and rose-petal florals, with the palate boasting lightly candied grapefruit, rhubarb and Peruvian groundcherry fruit-notes over a roasty, caramelised-biscuit base. A very fine bead holds everything together and ensures a lip-smacking finish.

Trimbach Pinot Blanc 2017 (Alsace)
Trimbach Pinot Blanc 2017 (Alsace) $31.95
‘Luminous straw. Delicate spicy nuances and sweet apple and pear aromas on the inviting nose. Then flavors similar to the aromas, and above-average acidity for a wine made with so much Auxerrois (this is a blend of 80% Auxerrois and 20% Pinot Blanc). Unlike Trimbach’s 2017 Sylvaner, this is made for the most part with bought grapes (though Pierre Trimbach told me he would like to limit the bought grapes to 50% of the total). No matter – it’s an outstanding Auxerrois wine.’ 91 points, Ian d’Agata, Vinous, January 2019.
2021 Domaine des Baumard Coteaux du Layon Carte D'Or 375ml - Wine France White - Liquor Wine Cave
2021 Domaine des Baumard Coteaux du La... $26.95
”The harvest and vinification of the Coteaux du Layon fruit follows closely the same philosophies with picking in tries, only here the aim is clearly to obtain fruit more marked by botrytis. The fruit is channelled into at least three cuvées, on occasion complemented by some purchased fruit from a grower in St Lambert du Lattay. This purchased fruit does not contribute to the more elevated cuvées but only to the very serviceable Carte d’Or, an entry-level wine with a lighter, elegant style with not a prodigious level of residual sugar.” thewinedoctor.com
