Old Kempton Distillery
Founded in 2012 by Amelia Hope, Bill and Lyn Lark, and James Reid, Old Kempton Distillery is located in Kempton, Australia. The distillery is renowned for its commitment to quality, producing a limited quantity of 300 bottles per batch of single malt whisky. Using Tasmanian barley and water, their whisky boasts a smooth profile with notes of caramel and spice. In addition to crafting award-winning spirits, the distillery operates a training school that equips aspiring distillers with the skills needed to thrive in Tasmania’s burgeoning distillery scene. Among their notable achievements are the Ex Pinot Cask and Ex Port Cask whiskies, which have won accolades at the World Whisky Awards for the past three consecutive years.
