The Alejandro Vermentino is one wine, but two picks of fruit. The earlier pick was leaner and lighter on the palate but intensely freshly shucked oyster shell with lemon and pepper. The latter pick was rich and oily with salty characters, consistent with rich styles. The resultant wine is full of Vermentino aroma, a medium to full bodied palate, fresh but rich.

It is made from old vines of more than fifty years in age that are grown in a vineyard with ideal exposure.
The grapes are harvested and sorted by hand on a sorting table, ensuring that only the ripest and healthiest of them go into the wine. Bouzy Rouge is then fermented and matured in stainless steel vats until reaching its full potential.
