Tasting note
Tenuta di Valgiano Rosso is a biodynamic red from the Colline Lucchesi, in the hills above Lucca in northern Tuscany.
The estate sits at around 300 metres and has been under vine since the 16th century, though its modern era begins with the 1993 vintage. It was certified organic in 1996 and biodynamic in 2002, and the grapes are hand sorted and foot crushed, with the wines bottled unfiltered. The reds blend sangiovese with merlot and syrah, plus small parts of ciliegiolo and canaiolo, and spend twelve to fifteen months in barrel. The soils differ by variety: sandstone for syrah, limestone for merlot.
Decant it and serve at cool room temperature with roast meat, game or aged cheese.

Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
