Tasting note
Castarède is an armagnac house founded in 1832. Its XO is a Bas-Armagnac made by blending several vintages, and the youngest spirit in the blend has spent 20 years in oak. This version comes in a decorative carafe.
Colour. A clear, coppery robe.
Nose. Castarède describes it as powerful and warm, bringing fruit and spice together. Look too for candied chestnut and dried currants, with cigar box and sandalwood from the oak.
Palate. Very structured, with softened tannins that carry candied fruit and candied citrus peel. It is intense and vibrant, yet in good balance.

Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
