Tasting note
Luis Canas Reserva is a classically made red Rioja from Villabuena de Alava in Rioja Alavesa.
The Canas family began bottling in 1970 and shifted the estate towards serious aged wines under Juan Luis Canas in the late 1980s. The Reserva is built on old-vine tempranillo with a little graciano and matured in both French and American oak, the two-wood approach that gives Rioja its balance of vanilla sweetness from the American barrels and firmer spice from the French. Rioja Alavesa is the coolest of the three subzones, sheltered by the Sierra de Cantabria.
Serve at cool room temperature with lamb, beef or aged Manchego. Decant it if you have time.

Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
