Tasting note
Sortilège McIntosh Apple takes the brand's signature pairing of Canadian whisky and Quebec maple syrup and adds the flavour of crisp red apple, the local fruit Sortilège calls iconic. Sortilège says its whisky matures for 1,100 days in oak barrels before it is blended with the maple syrup.
The result layers three flavours: warm whisky, rich maple and bright red apple.
How to drink it. Sortilège publishes several cocktails built on it, including The Big Apple Sour, an Orchard Fizz and a Festive Apple serve. It is just as easy over ice, or topped with ginger ale or soda.
