Tasting note
Sortilège Prestige blends refined Canadian whisky, aged more than seven years in oak barrels, with pure first-run Quebec maple syrup.
Where the idea comes from. Sortilège traces its recipe to Quebec's first settlers, who flavoured their eau-de-vie with a local ingredient: maple syrup. The house uses the same pairing today, balancing the depth of Canadian whisky against the richness of maple.
In the glass. The whisky brings warmth and the maple adds sweetness.
A cocktail from the house. For a Maple Apple, pour 30 ml Sortilège Prestige, 15 ml brandy and 30 ml apple juice into an old fashioned glass with a few ice cubes, stir well and garnish with a slice of apple. More bottles from Canada and beyond are in our whisky collection.
