Tasting note
Tomfoolery Fox Whistle Pinot Gris is a white from the Barossa Valley in South Australia.
Pinot gris is the same grape as pinot grigio, and the name signals the style rather than the variety: gris usually means a fuller, more textural wine with more weight on the palate, where grigio points to something leaner and crisper. Tomfoolery is a Barossa producer whose Fox Whistle and Young Blood labels sit at the approachable end of its range.
Serve chilled with salads, chicken, pork or lighter seafood.
