Tasting note
Chateau Sociando-Mallet 2013 is a red Bordeaux from the Haut-Medoc, made at Saint-Seurin-de-Cadourne on the northern edge of the appellation.
Jean Gautreau bought the run-down property in 1969 and rebuilt it into one of the most respected estates on the left bank, then declined to enter it for classification at all: Sociando-Mallet appears in neither the 1855 ranking nor the Cru Bourgeois lists, by choice. The 50 hectare vineyard is around 55 per cent cabernet sauvignon with 40 per cent merlot and a little cabernet franc, and the wines are known for needing time.
Decant it and serve at cool room temperature with roast lamb, beef or aged cheese.

Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
