Tasting note
Belize is one of the less familiar rum origins, and this is what it tastes like at full strength. The rum comes from the Travellers distillery in Belize City, has spent thirteen years in cask, and is bottled from a single cask at its natural strength of 62.1 per cent with no water added.
The nose is drier than the strength suggests: sandalwood and cinnamon over sweet spice, with an elderflower note lifting it. The palate keeps both the spice and the floral side, and it is balanced enough that the alcohol reads as intensity rather than heat. The finish is long and roasted, with a dark cocoa bitterness at the end.
Drink it neat first, then add water a few drops at a time and taste as you go. The floral notes open up considerably once it comes down off full strength. This is not a mixing bottle. 700ml at 62.1 per cent, thirteen years old, from Belize. Our Dark Rum shelf holds the rest of the origin bottlings.

Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
