Tasting note

Carn Mor Strictly Limited is the independent bottling range of the Morrison family's Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers, drawing casks from distilleries across Scotland and bottling them without chill filtration or added colour. This Craigellachie was distilled in 2011 at the Speyside distillery famous for its muscular, characterful spirit, and matured in Fino sherry casks before bottling in 2026 at 14 years old. Fino brings structure and dryness rather than the sweetness of richer sherry styles, giving a more savoury dram. Expect stone fruit, heather honey and roasted almonds on the nose, a nutty, gently fruity and savoury palate, and a dry, balanced, lingering finish. Bottled at the range's house strength of 47.5%.
