A worthy heir of the great HSE vintages, this Single Cask 2006 has received the full attention of our cellar master to offer you a new balance between power, roundness, and aromatic complexity. Each bottled batch has been carefully selected from a unique 400-litre French oak barrel, identified by the double numbering of the bottles.
Tasting Notes:
The nose opens with an explosion of aromas, where the empyreumatic notes of cocoa, coffee, and blond tobacco intermingle in a fruity universe of prunes, quince, and cooked fruits. The round and delicious palate offers a soft and elegant attack before stretching into a long, fruity, and delicately spicy finish.
