Tasting note

A limited release from Isle of Raasay Distillery, the first legal distillery on the small Hebridean island of Raasay, founded by Bill Dobbie and Alasdair Day with spirit production beginning in 2017. Lightly peated and unpeated Raasay spirit, distilled in the summer of 2021, was fully matured in ex-Marsala barriques from Frazzitta, a historic Marsala house in Sicily, whose casks had held bone-dry Marsala Vergine. It was bottled in July 2025 at 50.7% with natural colour and no chill filtration. The nose opens with grape must, parma violets and a sweet, slightly sharp note. The palate is rich and mouth-coating, with stewed apples, sweet pear, ginger, maple syrup and a touch of balsamic, before the distillery's signature smoke lingers on a long finish.

Free delivery on orders over $499, anywhere in Australia except the Northern Territory, which we do not deliver to. Standard rates apply below that and are calculated at checkout.

Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.

Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
