Tasting note
J.M's VSOP is an AOC Martinique agricole rum from the Fonds-Préville distillery, which stands at the foot of Mount Pelée between the Roches and Macouba rivers. It is column distilled and aged for at least four years in ex-bourbon and new oak: three years in re-charred bourbon barrels, then at least one more in new American oak. It is bottled at 43%.
Style. J.M files it under spiced and powerful: warm and comforting, with a full palette of smoked, grilled and caramelised aromas.
Nose. Golden in the glass. Exotic fruit leads, with lychee, mango and flambéed banana, then quince paste, vanilla pod and a mellow, lightly toasted wood.
Palate. Complex and fruity. Vanilla and cinnamon lift the tropical fruit, while gingerbread and floral honey meet slightly smoky roasted notes. The finish is structured and harmonious.
Serving. Cellar master Capucine Kuperminc suggests it at the end of a meal with a good coffee or a strawberry tartlet. It is also full enough to sip neat or with one ice cube, and it suits an Old Fashioned or a Manhattan. See the range in our J.M rum collection.

Free delivery on orders over $499, anywhere in Australia except the Northern Territory, which we do not deliver to. Standard rates apply below that and are calculated at checkout.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
