Tasting note
Fernando de Castilla Classic Pedro Ximenez is a sweet sherry made from sun-dried Pedro Ximenez grapes, from the bodega in the old Barrio de Santiago quarter of Jerez.
Pedro Ximenez is made by laying the grapes out to raisin in the sun before pressing, which concentrates the sugars so far that fermentation barely gets going. What follows is oxidative ageing in solera, and the result is close to black in the glass and thick enough to coat it, with the dried fig and molasses character the style is known for. This is the Classic range version from a house run since 1999 by Jan Pettersen.
Serve it chilled in a small glass, or pour it over vanilla ice cream.

Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
