Tasting note
Ratafia de Bourgogne is a fortified wine in the same family as Pineau des Charentes, with a fruitier character. To make it, Vedrenne takes grape juice straight after pressing, before fermentation can begin, and blends it with a very old Marc de Bourgogne.
Tasting. The nose shows dried fruit, fig and marc. On the palate, the intensity of the marc is balanced by rich, fruity flavours. Vedrenne describes it as the fruity sweetness of a liqueur wine married to the character of an excellent marc.
When to pour it. The house calls it a generous aperitif, and it is just as good after dinner. Vedrenne has been making liqueurs in Nuits-Saint-Georges since 1923. Related styles are in our mistelles collection.

Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
