Tasting note
Verveine du Velay is the emblematic plant liqueur of the Auvergne, made by the Distillerie Pagès in Le Puy-en-Velay since 1859 and now part of the Vedrenne family of liqueurs. This is the yellow, or gold, version: a sweet verbena liqueur carrying a light note of honey, bottled at 40%.
The heart of it is lemon verbena that the distillery grows on its own site. Planted in June, it is picked before the frosts, dried away from the light and stripped by hand. The local verbena is then combined with a bouquet of other plants and spices, and the whole process takes around 18 months across three stages: maceration, distillation in red copper stills and at least 12 months in oak casks.
Tasting. A bouquet of herbaceous plants on the nose. In the mouth it is fine and soft, elegant and subtle, with a warm, deep flavour that balances strength and sweetness, and hints of herbs and amber.

Free delivery on orders over $499, anywhere in Australia except the Northern Territory, which we do not deliver to. Standard rates apply below that and are calculated at checkout.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
