Preparation/Description:
This liqueur is made from a natural infusion of bitter herbs and spices such as orange and lemon peels, rhubarb, gentian, licorice and quassia. The infusion, in a hydroalcoholic solution, lasts for 20 days and is then filtered using traditional methods.
COLOUR: shiny ruby red.
OLFACTORY EXAM: It has a very delicate bouquet, a good intensity and is overall well balanced. It captures with the intense orange peel aroma that is then followed by hints of rhubarb, gentian,licorice and quassia.
TASTE: It has a very decisive flavor. Hints of citrus fruits are followed by the typical bitterness of the herbal ingredients, in which the gentian is predominant. It has a long lasting bitter aftertaste that persists and stimulates pleasantly the taste buds for a few minutes.

It is typically used as a blending product but can also be enjoyed “on the rocks”.
