Tasting note
An absinthe fountain turns the old way of serving absinthe into a table centrepiece. This one, from Distilleries et Domaines de Provence, the house behind Absente, has two pourers, so two glasses can be prepared at once.
The idea is simple: absinthe goes into the glass, often with a sugar cube balanced on an absinthe spoon, and iced water from the fountain drips slowly over it. As the water meets the spirit the absinthe clouds and turns opalescent, releasing its wormwood, anise and herbal aromas. The house notes that its ritual can be performed with a fountain "as in the old days".

Absinthe is legal in Australia, it does not make you hallucinate, and the ritual is chemistry rather than theatre.

Most orders leave within 2 to 7 business days depending on the item. If anything is delayed we will tell you.
Free delivery on orders over $499, anywhere in Australia except the Northern Territory, which we do not deliver to. Standard rates apply below that and are calculated at checkout.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
