Tasting note
Très Vieux is one of the classic cognacs of Jean Fillioux, the family house at the Domaine de La Pouyade that has specialised in old Grande Champagne eaux de vie since 1894. The family calls it the image of the house: a traditional, powerful yet elegant Grande Champagne. The Ugni Blanc wine is distilled on its lees, twice, in a Charentais pot still, from vines on Cretaceous clay limestone soil.
Nose. A mouth watering mix of pear jam, banana, citrus and old port, with vanilla bursting through.
Palate. Powerful and woody, with passionfruit and mango alongside orange marmalade, quince and pear.
Finish. Surprisingly long, with spice building at the end.

Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
