Tasting note

The Pooley family's Butchers Hill vineyard sits on a steep, north-facing slope at the historic Belmont Lodge on the edge of Richmond, in Tasmania's Coal River Valley. Planted in 2003, its six hectares run from 30 to 100 metres above sea level, catching long hours of sun while sheltered from cold southerly winds, on dark, iron-rich ferricrete soils. Fruit was hand picked, chilled overnight and whole-bunch pressed, then fermented in stainless steel and rested on fine lees for four months before bottling. The 2025 is loaded with freshly squeezed lime, green apple and grapefruit, with hints of meadow flowers, soft spice and crushed stone. Fruit and acidity sit in tight balance, leading to a stony, dry and satisfying finish. Serve chilled with seafood.
Delivery information

Most orders leave within 2 to 7 business days depending on the item. If anything is delayed we will tell you.

Free delivery on orders over $499, anywhere in Australia except the Northern Territory, which we do not deliver to. Standard rates apply below that and are calculated at checkout.

Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.

Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.

We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
