Tasting note
Roger Groult Vouvray is a Calvados Pays d'Auge from the Groult family estate in Normandy, finished in Vouvray casks.
The Groults have distilled at the Clos de la Hurvaniere at Saint-Cyr-du-Ronceray since Pierre Groult set up a pot still around 1850, and the estate is now run by the fifth generation. Pays d'Auge is the top Calvados appellation, and the one that insists on double distillation in a pot still rather than a column, which gives a heavier, more textured apple spirit. Vouvray is the Loire's chenin blanc appellation, so the finishing casks bring a wine influence rather than a fortified or whisky one.
Serve neat, at room temperature, in a tulip glass after a meal.

Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
