Tasting note
Victor Gontier is a family farm at Saint-Georges-de-Rouelley that has made calvados in the heart of the Domfrontais appellation for three generations. It distils the cider apples and perry pears grown on its own land, and each bottling is sold as a vintage from a single year's distillation.
This 2009 was made from a fruit mix of roughly 70% apples and 30% pears, then aged in oak barrels. In the glass it is savoury, with a sweetness of ripe apple and pear running through it.

Normandy is too far north for wine grapes, so it distils apples instead.

Free delivery on orders over $499, anywhere in Australia except the Northern Territory, which we do not deliver to. Standard rates apply below that and are calculated at checkout.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
