About Shipwreck Rum

From St. Kitts to Australia

Shipwreck Rum is a premium rum brand known for its artisanal production methods and unique flavours. The brand often highlights the historical connection to shipwrecks in the Caribbean, drawing inspiration from the maritime heritage of the region.

Shipwreck Rum stands out due to its artisanal production and rich flavour profile. Produced on St. Kitts by the Island Company, it uses traditional pot stills and ages the rum in American oak barrels, giving it a distinctive smoothness. The spiced variant incorporates natural spices like vanilla, nutmeg, and cloves, creating a complex and aromatic experience. The brand's connection to Caribbean maritime history adds a unique cultural dimension. This careful craftsmanship and historical inspiration make Shipwreck Rum a notable choice for rum enthusiasts seeking a high-quality, flavourful spirit.

This long-standing tradition ended with sailors raising glasses in a final salute, many shedding tears as they honoured "The Queen" and bid farewell to the old custom.

best ever coconut rum cream

I've been drinking beer, wine and spirits for a long time, searching the world for the decent stuff to drink, as we only live one life; and one of the drinks I discovered a long while back was Brinley Gold Shipwreck Coconut Rum Cream, easily the best I've come across because of how it's produced, using quality products, and how it tastes; made with a good quality rum without the burn of the cheaper variety and added with real New York State Dairy Cream that actually tastes like cream, finished with a flavour of coconut that does not have that sickly, artificial taste that most others have. Every time a produce a bottle at a party, it's an instant hit, especially with the fairer sex. I'm very hesitant in offering very positive reviews, considering it tends to disappear, with the text showing, "out of stock". Goslings Black Seal Family Reserve is another example, as now it's so difficult to source it in Australia; and when it does appear back in stock, the asking price is too much, which forces people to buy it overseas.
