Tasting note
Turquoise Bay Amber comes from Mauritius and brings together two schools of rum making in one bottle. It starts out as a traditional rum distilled from molasses, and a dash of rhum agricole, made the Caribbean way from freshly pressed sugar cane juice, is added to it. The amber blend is then finished in barrels that previously held Cognac.
Tasting note. Sweetness and spice are in balance, with notes of toffee, caramel, raisin and honey.
When to pour it. A relaxed rum for warm summer afternoons and evenings. More rum from Mauritius is in our Arcane rum collection.
