Arcane Rum

Arcane is born from a new vision of rum. “Ananas Rôti”, made with 100% natural aromas, reveals a perfectly balanced marriage between pineapple’s intensity, caramel’s sweetness and Mauritius rum’s roundness. Arcane Extraroma is aged in oak barrels. It combines the fresh cane aromas and the very smooth, complex aromas of an old rum. What makes it unique is its incredible aromatic richness. EYE: deep amber. NOSE: opulent, with notes of exotic fruits and pastry. PALATE: very smooth, with a profusion of flavors: exotic fruits, chocolate, vanilla, dried fruits. Delicatissime is a young dry gold rum aged in oak barrels for only 18 months. It keeps the fresh cane aromas with just a hint of oak which brings a touch of smoothness. Its originality comes from the spicy notes which are typical of Mauritius. Delicatissime is ideal neat (chilled), on the rocks or in a cocktail. Delicatissime brings a lot of elegance and originality to Mojitos. Tasting Notes: Colour: light golden hues.  Nose: spicy and vegetal, with a vanilla touch. Palate: a very delicate vegetal and fruity taste with a peppery touch and a smooth finish with vanilla hints.

"A NATURAL GENEROSITY" All the ingredients coming into the composition of GENEROUS are natural: Juniper, Citrus, Mandarin, Red Pepper, Jasmin & Elder Flower. Some of them are produced by maceration, others by distillation, using exclusively traditional methods. This naturality can be clearly perceived in the tasting: the style is clear, the flavours are precised and well harmonised. TASTING NOTES: COLOUR Light and shiny texture. NOSE Fine and floral. Dominant base of juniper, softened by the white flowers (elderflower, jasmine). TASTE A beautiful aromatic explosion of citrus fruits and spices highlighting the freshness of the juniper, with sweet floral notes and traces of jasmine. CONCLUSION A good length in the mouth, enriched by the persistent notes of red pepper, citrus fruits and juniper.

The paradise on Earth some call Mauritius is home to six Rum makers and is one of the few realms that still offers the entire array of styles: traditional, agricole, light, dark, spiced, et cetera. With Turquoise Bay Amber Rum, the creators have distilled the essence of the terroir: sweetness and spiciness in a wonderful tropical dance that evokes images of palms, sand and sunsets.
