Tasting note
A red bitter for negronis and americanos, and a noticeably lighter one than the category standard. At 16 per cent it is an infusion of herbs, aromatic plants and fruit in wine and alcohol rather than a high strength spirit alone, so it lengthens a drink instead of loading it.
The flavour runs to red fruit rather than pure bitterness: cranberry acidity first, then grenadine and strawberry, a dark chocolate note through the middle and floral lift on the finish. The bitterness is present and clean but it does not dominate.
For an americano: thirty millilitres of this, thirty of sweet vermouth, tall glass, ice, top with soda and half an orange wheel. For a negroni, equal parts with gin and sweet vermouth, stirred, one large cube, orange peel. Because it is lighter, a negroni built with it wants a bolder gin than usual to stay in balance.
Chilled on its own with a twist of orange is the simplest use. 750ml at 16 per cent, made at Chambery in France, alongside the rest of our Bitters.

Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
