Tasting note
This red Pineau des Charentes comes from François Voyer, a Cognac house in Grande Champagne. Roughly two parts fresh grape juice are blended with one part Cognac straight after the harvest, and the blend then spends more than five years in oak barrels.
Colour. Deep rosé, shading to mahogany.
Nose. Candied quince, blackberry and blackcurrant, with a note of white tobacco. Plum and pear sit underneath, along with dried fruit such as hazelnut.
Palate. Firm yet supple, generous and powerful, full of red fruit.
Serving. Chill it lightly and pour as an aperitif, or bring it to the table with dessert: crème brûlée, vanilla cream, tarte Tatin and white chocolate all suit it. It also sits well with goose liver pâté. More from the house is in our François Voyer collection.

Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
