Tasting note
Maison Gabriel Boudier of Dijon makes this Curaçao Triple Sec for its bartender range, bottled at 38% in a 50 cl bottle. Curaçao takes its name from the island in the Dutch Caribbean, and the liqueur was first made by the Dutch from the peel of bitter oranges.
Boudier distils bitter orange peel in stills it describes as 170 years old, then finishes the distillate with natural orange flavours and a carefully judged dose of sugar. The distilled peel is what gives it a light bitter edge.
Tasting. Perfectly clear, with citrus on the nose. The palate is fresh and bright with bitter orange, and that touch of bitterness from the peel follows through.
Using it. This is the orange liqueur that classics such as the Margarita and the Cosmopolitan depend on, and it is just as useful in the kitchen, crêpes Suzette being the famous example. Free delivery on orders over $499, anywhere in Australia except the Northern Territory, which we do not deliver to. Standard rates apply below that and are calculated at checkout.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
