Tasting note
Vedrenne made this blue curaçao for working bartenders: a cocktail liqueur with enough aromatic punch to show through juice, soda or spirits. Vedrenne produces it in Burgundy's Nuits-Saint-Georges and bottles it at 25% in a full 700ml size.
Tasting. A bright, shining blue in the glass. On the nose it is round and aromatic, with sweet orange peel. The palate follows through with sweet orange and a fine, delicate finish.
Mixing ideas. Use it for colour and citrus in a Blue Lagoon, a blue margarita or a Blue Hawaiian, or add a splash to lemonade and sparkling wine for a punch. Because the orange is on the sweet side, balance it with fresh lemon or lime juice. More Vedrenne liqueurs are in our Vedrenne collection.
