Tasting note
Menthe Blanche is the clear peppermint liqueur from Vedrenne, the liqueur maker of Nuits-Saint-Georges in Burgundy. The house says it took particular care over this recipe to bring out the distinctive fresh taste of mint, and the ingredient list is short: sugar, water, alcohol and natural mint flavourings. It is bottled at 18% in a 70cl bottle.
Colour. Colourless, as clear as chilled water.
Nose. Very fresh and bracing iced mint, powerful and highly scented.
Palate. The true taste of freshly cut mint, closing on a peppery note.
