Tasting note
Bertrand ages this elderflower spirit in small ash barrels. Ash is a pale wood that leaves the character of the spirit intact while letting it age slowly as it breathes through the grain.
Only the heart of each distillation, the most powerful and aromatically complex part, goes into the bottle. It belongs to the distillery's special reserve eaux de vie, which are made only in years when the weather gives the most sunshine and the fruit, or here the flower, reaches its richest aromatic potential.
Other clear spirits are in our eau de vie collection.
