Tasting note
Pira is the pear-led gin from Christian Drouin. Its key botanical is the Domfront pear, a variety traditionally pressed for perry in Normandy, joined by juniper, lemon, vanilla, iris root and black pepper. The iris is a nod to the Norman cottage, where irises grow along the ridge of the thatched roof.
Tasting. Juicy white fruit with black pepper and iris, carried by the full-bodied style that Drouin gins are known for.
Method. Drouin follows its original gin recipe: every ingredient is macerated and distilled on its own to draw out its full aroma, and the separate distillates are blended just before bottling. The bottle mirrors the standard Drouin gin, dressed in a raw green that brings pears to mind.

Most orders leave within 2 to 7 business days depending on the item. If anything is delayed we will tell you.
Free delivery on orders over $499, anywhere in Australia except the Northern Territory, which we do not deliver to. Standard rates apply below that and are calculated at checkout.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
