Tasting note

Downpour is the gin of North Uist Distillery Co., founded by islanders Jonny Ingledew and Kate MacDonald and now based at the historic Nunton Steadings on Benbecula in the Outer Hebrides. The range is named after the Atlantic weather that sweeps the islands, and the core gin is built around wild Hebridean heather and citrus. For this cask aged edition, sloe berries and Uist brambles are added to Downpour Scottish Dry Gin, which is then aged in bourbon casks to give a complex, rich and fruity gin at 31%. Pour it over ice, top with tonic or sparkling wine, or use it in place of a fruit liqueur in a bramble cocktail.

Delivery information

Most orders leave within 2 to 7 business days depending on the item. If anything is delayed we will tell you.

Free delivery on orders over $499, anywhere in Australia except the Northern Territory, which we do not deliver to. Standard rates apply below that and are calculated at checkout.

Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.

Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.

We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
