Tasting note
Gabriel Boudier is a family liqueur house in Dijon, and this Burgundy gin is one of its own creations, built around the bud of the blackcurrant bush.
Nose. Juniper and blackcurrant held in balance, a faint bitterness from the bud, bright citrus, and resin and wood underneath.
Palate. A strong opening of juniper and blackcurrant, freshened by the bud, moving on to wood and spice. The finish is smooth, long and even.
Nine botanicals are used: juniper, blackcurrant bud and blackcurrant fruit, raspberry, cardamom, coriander, ginger, and the peel of both lemon and orange. Each is steeped in a mix of water and alcohol, then run through the family copper still to make a concentrate the house calls an alcoholate. The nine alcoholates are blended and cut with water to 40%. Gin has been a Boudier speciality since the end of the Second World War, when the house supplied gin to the American army in Europe and became one of the few gin specialists in France.

Free delivery on orders over $499, anywhere in Australia except the Northern Territory, which we do not deliver to. Standard rates apply below that and are calculated at checkout.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
