Tasting note
Mandrake is the cucumber and mint gin from Nosferatu Distillery, introduced as the mischievous younger brother of the house gin. It is bottled at 40.4%.
The name comes from the folklore of the mandrake root, the plant that is said to scream when it is pulled out of the ground. The gin itself is far gentler: a small-batch, crisp and refreshing spirit with Albanian juniper, lots of fresh cucumber and mint, coriander seed, liquorice root and a zesty lemon base.
Nosferatu serves it as the entree of its four-course gin dinner. For the house gin and tonic, pour 30ml over ice, top with 90ml of a Mediterranean or elderflower tonic and garnish with cucumber and mint. It also makes a clean Southside, or a martini-style Cucumber and Mint-ini: stir 45ml of gin with 10ml of blanc vermouth over ice, strain into a chilled glass and finish with a ribbon of cucumber.

Most orders leave within 2 to 7 business days depending on the item. If anything is delayed we will tell you.
Free delivery on orders over $499, anywhere in Australia except the Northern Territory, which we do not deliver to. Standard rates apply below that and are calculated at checkout.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
